Sofia Muñoz is a Master’s student in Philosophy with a specialization in Political Philosophy, at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of NOVA University of Lisbon. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and pursued a post-graduate degree in Liberal Thinking at Universidade Lusófona do Porto. Her academic interests focus on political thought and governance’s roots. Within the scope of the optional unit offered by the FCT Exploratory Project “Mapping Philosophy as a Way of Life: An Ancient Model, A Contemporary Approach”, Sofia is currently working on a paper titled “A não-autossuficência do Homem como base para a ética do cuidado da República de Platão”.
