MAPPING PHILOSOPHY AS A WAY OF LIFE

The project’s permanent seminar is held online once a month. Check the schedule for the academic year 2023/24 here. The next session will take place on May 15 (4 PM UTC+1), with a talk by Simone D’Agostino. More information here.

From February to July, the project organizes a series of Philosophical Talks. The third one will take place on May 4 (3 PM), in Évora and will be dedicated to Care, with Irene Borges Duarte & Fernanda Henriques.

In partnership with Centro Luís Krus, the project offers a New Year Course on Philosophy as a Way of Life in two modules, which can be attended together or separately. The course will be taught online and in Portuguese language. Full information here.

The kick-off conference of the project, “What Exactly is Philosophy as a Way of Life? Boundaries, Crossroads, Deadlocks“, will take place on July 5-6 at the NOVA-FCSH, in Lisbon. More information here.

On April 26 Prof. Richard Shusterman will be in Lisbon for a workshop dedicated to the discussion of his recently published book Philosophy and the Art of Writing (Routledge, 2022). More information and programme here.
